Bowel Cancer Guernsey invites islanders to don their loudest tie or scarf on Friday 27th January 2023 to support ‘Loud Tie Day’ to help raise awareness of bowel cancer and generate some much-needed funds.
Schoolchildren, office workers, retailers, tradesmen, public figures and even local celebrities are encouraged to rock some loud neckwear for the day, donating to the charity for the privilege.
If your office does dress down Friday, why not turn it on its head and dress up for Loud Tie Day? And don’t worry, if you’re working from home the charity can provide you with a Loud Tie Zoom or Teams background for your meetings that day! See ‘Fundraising materials’ below.
And for the children, here’s an activity that might keep them amused long enough for you to grab a cuppa by getting them to design a tie to be used in our 2023 campaign (found here). Simply:
- Draw your own tie or print off the template
- Get the children to design their tie
- Take a photo, upload the photo to Facebook with the hashtag #BeTieRiffic and send them as a message to our Facebook page
#LoudTie2023
Bowel Cancer Guernsey is committed to improving awareness of Bowel Cancer across the Bailiwick by spreading the message that understanding the risks, symptoms and early treatment can save lives.
