Bowel Cancer Guernsey was established in 2001 as the Guernsey Bowel Cancer Awareness Charity and is registered with the Guernsey Association of Charities. In 2013 the charity rebranded as Bowel Cancer Guernsey and in January 2015 became a Limited by Guarantee (LBG).
The committee organises a series of events each year to raise funds for the Charity and to raise awareness of bowel cancer. Money raised is spent locally on specialised equipment and educational initiatives – see our page on Work of the Charity for details
The committee meets most months for business meetings plus there are additional smaller sub-committee meetings to plan events.
